The National Historical Museum

The National Historical Museum in Sofia is Bulgaria's largest museum. It was founded on 5 May 1973.

In 2000 the museum was moved to the former primary residence of the dictator and last communist leader Todor Zhivkov at Boyana. It contains over 650,000 objects connected to archaeology, fine arts, history and ethnography. The Museum’s collection comprises materials dating from prehistoric ages till the present.

Likewise, in 2000 the building was equipped with DEVI electrical heating solutions for its gutters and downpipes.
